The University of North Texas is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our nationally respected Department of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology. As a clinical supervisor, you'll play a vital role in shaping both client outcomes and student success. You'll oversee assessment and treatment services delivered by graduate student clinicians while providing expert guidance, mentorship, and feedback that helps them translate classroom knowledge into clinical excellence.
In addition to supervising students, you'll provide direct clinical services—both in person and through telepractice—ensuring clients receive high-quality, individualized care grounded in current evidence-based practices.
What You'll Do
Supervise and mentor graduate student clinicians in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and clinical decision-making.
Guide students in delivering evidence-based speech-language pathology services that reflect current best practices.
Provide direct assessment and treatment services for clients as assigned.
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans and clinical objectives.
Foster professional growth, critical thinking, and clinical confidence among student clinicians.
Collaborate with clinic leadership to ensure high standards of client care and clinical education.
Monitor clinical progress, address challenges proactively, and support a positive learning environment.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and five years of clinical experience, including three years of clinical supervision experience with graduate level student clinicians. Experience delivering tele-practice service.
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical experience with both adult and pediatric populations is preferred as well as experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid documentation.
