Basic Purpose
Responsible for the planning, execution, and finalization of assigned key business projects in accordance with performance, budget and timing requirements coordinating the efforts of team members and third projects according to plan. This position will also define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Directs and manages project development from beginning to end of key business projects

Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Establishes and manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team. 20%

Tracks project milestones and deliverables.

Manages changes in project scope and identifies potential contingency plans.

Builds, develops, and grows business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to position and company.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related area and 15 years of related experience.

Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 19 years of related work experience.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of:

Laws and regulations applicable to the corporation

All areas of business operations.

Project Management

Company's products and services.

Administrative services.

Demonstrated skills such as:
Detail oriented, human relations, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, interpersonal and organizational.

Analytical, interpersonal and communication.

Equipment and Applications
PCs, word processing, Excel spreadsheet, and people soft database software. Engineering estimation, project management, and project control tools.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment. No special physical demands required.

Note:
Depending on qualification of applicants, this position may be filled at a lower level such as Sr Project Mgr.
