Compensation: Base salary starting at $110,000, plus negotiable bonus

We are growing our client-facing team and are seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to play a critical role in onboarding new clients, managing ongoing client relationships, and supporting the firm’s sales and growth initiatives.
Role Overview
The Client Relationship Manager is a senior, client-facing role responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience from initial onboarding through long-term relationship management. This role acts as a key point of contact for clients, works closely with Portfolio Managers and internal teams, and supports the firm’s business development efforts.
This position is ideal for a relationship-driven professional with strong investment knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fiduciary, discretionary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Experience
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless and professional transition to Raintree Wealth Management
- Coordinate client documentation, account setup, and onboarding workflows in partnership with operations and compliance
- Ensure all onboarding aligns with regulatory and suitability requirements
Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary relationship contact for assigned clients
- Proactively manage client communication, reviews, and service needs
- Work alongside Portfolio Managers to support client meetings, portfolio discussions, and ongoing engagement
- Anticipate client needs and deliver a high-touch, concierge-level client experience
Sales & Growth Support
- Support the sales process by assisting with prospect meetings, presentations, and follow-up
- Help articulate Raintree’s investment philosophy, portfolio solutions, and value proposition to prospective clients
- Collaborate with senior leadership and Portfolio Managers on business development initiatives
Internal Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between clients, Portfolio Managers, operations, and compliance
- Contribute to continuous improvement of client experience processes and service standards

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- CFA designation required
- Registered as a Portfolio Manager, or eligible and willing to become registered
- Minimum 5+ years experience in wealth management, portfolio management, or client relationship roles
- Strong understanding of discretionary portfolio management and investment products
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-first mindset
Preferred
- Experience working with high-net-worth or institutional clients
- Familiarity with Canadian regulatory requirements and discretionary platforms
- Ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities in a fast-paced environment
