Description
Sydney Spine & Pelvis Physio is looking to recruit an experienced musculo-skeletal / sports Physio who is interested in treating their clients holistically through an Integrated Systems approach which combines manual therapy, exercise & movement retraining to improve mobility and wellness. We are an experienced team of physiotherapists working in a practice owned and run by Dr Barb Hungerford for over 23 years. We provide a unique service tailored to the needs of each individual client with the aim to improve their health & wellbeing. We have strong links with Sports Medicine Specialists & other referring specialists in Sydney and enjoy networking with health professionals in our community.
Our ideal candidate should have a minimum 3 years' experience in private practice, with PD covering manual therapy approaches and be interested in treatment of the spine, pelvis, thoracic rings, cranio-cervical & Pilates training. An interest in Womens & pelvic health is beneficial but not essential. This position includes mentorship by Barb Hungerford & her team, plus in-house training, financial PD support, and practical case-study learning opportunities. As the successful candidate, you would be offered in-house training that expands your clinical reasoning, diagnostic skills, & treatment options for a variety of musculo-skeletal, sports, spinal, post-op, cervico-cranial, concussion, and pregnancy/ womens health, and pelvic related presentations while working in an environment that introduces a broad spectrum of clients seeking your guidance and care. Therefore, we hope to find someone willing to learn & progress their skills towards providing their own highest quality physiotherapy service.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years working as a physiotherapist including private practice and manual therapy experience. Please provide Professional Development list with CV
Part time hours negotiable.
Experience in one or more of our clinical pillars: Musculoskeletal/ manual therapy, Integrated Systems Model or Connect Therapy Ring Approach, Pilates, Muscle Energy Tq, Womens & Pelvic health.
AHPRA registration must be current and ready to begin work by early 2026.
