Were seeking a passionate and driven Per Diem Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Opportunity Details
- Position Type: Per Diem (0.0 FTE)
 
- Schedule: 25-hour or 8-hour shifts as needed
 
- Location:Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan
 
- Specialty: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neonatology fellowship training
 - Hospital Info: Grand Rapids: 15-bed NICU Level III, Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
 - Call Requirements: No Call Required for APPs

Requirements
- Relevant clinical experience preferred
 - APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
 - Active Michigan medical license
 - DEA license
 - ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
 
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
 - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
 - Participating in teaching and mentoring
 - Documenting in Epic EMR
 - Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
 - Supporting community health efforts
